The magician exhibits a rectangular block, on the sides of which are printed ESP symbols. While the magician's back is turned, a spectator is invited to place the block in the box, remember and concentrate on the symbol on top, and then replace the cover. When the magician returns, he immediately announces the symbol in the mind of the spectator.
Development story:
The elements of Diabolicus were originally used for tricks of mentalism in which it was necessary to guess a shape drawn by a participant. The difficulty in this kind of trick it is be able to read the gimmick, quickly and discreetly. Diabolicus has eliminated this constraint. The gimmick which indicates the image chosen by the participant is immediately visible (by the spectators also). Thanks to him, the realization of the trick by the magician is largely facilitated there and he can thus pay all his attention on the presentation. The idea is succeeded, but the problem of the reset, once the effect ended is always present.
Generally, it is necessary to reproduce the choice of the spectator by a means or the other one on another visible element of the magician so that he can acquaint with the choice of the spectator but in that case it is impossible to present the effect several times following without reset the gimmick. Consider this: There are no holes in the box. You cannot see through the sides, top or bottom of the box. The magician never even touches the box after the spectator has made his selection. You can even cover the box with a scarf when the viewer makes his choice to make things more difficult. Everything can be examined. And yet instantly the magician knows what symbol is on top, anytime, anywhere. The space age secret is truly diabolical and totally unprecedented in mentalism effects. Very good effect and very good props !

This one his very rare and hard to find, the picture on the block are different, they represent a sword, gloves, shield, a cross and the simple black box has become a tomb with the knight drew embossed on the cover itself. Tips:
You can combine this trick whit "Dramatic envelope" from "Masuda" to make a incredible effect and so unleash your prediction in the envelope without the spectator never said his choice.

Une petite boîte rectangulaire noire est montrée au spectateur, vous présentez aussi un bloc sur lequel sont dessinés des symboles ESP (Croix, rond, vagues, étoile). Pendant que le magicien a le dos tourné, on demande au spectateur de choisir un des symboles, de placer le bloc dans la boîte avec le symbole choisi face en haut puis de refermer le couvercle. Quand le magicien se retourne, il peut automatiquement annoncer le symbole qui a été secrètement choisi par le spectateur sans jamais l'avoir vu!

Rappelez vous ceci: Il n'y a aucun trou dans la boite, vous ne pouvez pas voir à travers le fond, les cotés ou le dessus de la boite. Il n'est pas question ici non d'une histoire de poids ou de couvercle qui s'emboiterait différemment en fonction du choix. En fait le magicien peux ne jamais toucher la boite pendant le tour, vous pouvez même recouvrir la boite avec un foulard une fois que la spectateur à fait son choix pour corser les choses. Tout peut être examiné, le secret est extrêmement diabolique et totalement inédit dans un effet de mentalisme.

In 1993, thanks to Mr Setteducati, Milton Bradley launched a new line entitled Magic Works, which features a number of Tenyo products. The items retail for roughly 66% of the price of the same items in magic stores. This is the first time in decades that quality magic has been offered to a general consumer market. The Knight's Tomb is the Mb version of Tenyo's Diabolicus. The trick is the same, only design has been modified. Below an original drawing of package which come from MB patent.

En 1993, grâce à Mr Setteducati, Milton Bradley a commercialisé une nouvelle collection appelée Magic Works, qui utilisaient un grand nombre de tours de magie fabriqué par Tenyo. Le prix de vente de cette collection vendue dans les magasins de jouet était plus de deux fois moins chère que le même tour vendu par Tenyo dans les magasins de magie. Aucune autre collection de magie n'aura été aussi largement offerte au grand public depuis. The Knight's Tomb est donc la version MB du tour T-153 Diabolicus de Tenyo. Le tour est exactement le même, seul le design du matériel a été changé. Ci dessous un dessin originale tirée d'un brevet de MB.
