Tenyo is pleased to release magic apps for iPhone and iPad! You can show these latest tricks with your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. anywhere and anytime. Demo movie and instructions allow you to learn the magic easily. Please enjoy this latest trick that has taken in many experienced magicians.
-Magic Matrix: We have recreated a magic trick called "Coin Assembly" that uses coins and cards which can be performed on the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. The coins under the cards mysteriously move. Your audience tries to do the same, but is unsuccessful.
-Magic Shuffle: You treat your iPhone as a real deck of playing cards. After that, your iPhone shows the same card that the spectator freely named.
-Magic Hat (Discontinued): A spectator selects a card from the deck of playing cards. The magician then takes his iphone and simply touch the icon to start the application. The application shows a magic hat and one card is pops up from the hat. The card that appears is exactly the same card that the spectator freely selected.
Development story:
For long time, Tenyo has experienced many ideas to use computer technology to make magic trick. In 1998 Tenyo had sold two CD-ROM called "Cyber Magic" that could be used with computers. Unfortunately it was not really possible to make these magic away from home because carrying a computer in your pocket is not possible. This is why later Tenyo focused on mobile applications. Since 2001 Tenyo created content that can be used with I-mode technology deployed in Japan. And more recently Tenyo created and marketed a game for Nintendo DS called "Magic Encyclopedia" (Master of Illusion in the West). The project to create application for iPhone is then logical to Tenyo and is an extension of all these creations. When the iPhone came out, Mr Komiya of Tenyo was very attentive to all the features offered by this new device and immediately tried how it would be possible to take advantage of to create new interactive magic tricks. For this project Tenyo had to find a company specialized in application development. At that time Mr Komiya was in contact with someone in this field that was just a big fan of Tenyo since he was a child. It is therefore natural that a partnership has been established to develop Magic applications for iPhone. In the end, three differents companies have worked together for this project: Tenyo, CRI · Middleware and Val-up Technology. During initial meetings, dozens of ideas have been found, but the three teams did not necessarily agree on the path that would take this project. Finally after many meetings ideas have converged and all teams have engaged in the production of two applications. Meanwhile many concurrent applications to use the iPhone to make magic tricks have appeared on the market. It was therefore very important for Tenyo to succeed by offering something really different and impressive while being simple to understand for the buyer. Prototypes of Magic Magic Hat and Magic Shuffle were then presented to the magicians at magic convention in Beijing and the result was impressive because all the features of the iPhone were well exploited while being really easy to use. In all it took over four months of development to get to the final result. Since applications have been marketed worldwide. Thereafter the Magic Hat trick be removed from the App Store because of changes in the operating system in the new iphones that no longer allowed to run the application properly. Recently a third application for Ipad, Magic Matrix has emerged.

Tenyo est fier de vous présenter ces applications magiques pour Iphone et Ipad. Vous pourrez désormais présenter ces tours inédits n'importe où, n'importe quand. Une vidéo explicative présente dans l'application permet d'apprendre la procédure en toute simplicité.
-Magic Matrix: Tenyo a re-créé un tour de magie appelé "Coin Assembly" qui utilise des pièces de monnaie et des cartes, et que vous allez pouvoir présenter avec votre Ipad, Iphone or Ipod Touch. Les pièces placées sous les cartes vont se déplacer mystérieusement. Les spectateurs essayeront à leur tour de faire la même chose mais aucun n'en sera capable.
-Magic Shuffle: Vous vous servez de votre Iphone comme si il s'agissait d'un vrai jeu de cartes pour présenter un tour de magie, puis votre Iphone va être capable de révéler la carte qu'un spectateur aura pourtant nommée au hasard.
-Magic Hat (Discontinued): Un spectateur choisi une carte au hasard dans un vrai jeu de carte. Le magicien prend alors son iphone et appuie simplement sur l’icône pour démarrer l'application. L'application Iphone va alors montrer un chapeau de magicien et une carte va en sortir. Cette carte sera exactement la même que celle choisie librement par le spectateur.
Histoire du développement:
Depuis longtemps Tenyo a expérimenté de nombreuses idées afin d'utiliser la technologie informatique pour faire des tours de magie. En 1998, Tenyo avait commercialisé deux Cd-rom appelés "Cyber magic"qui pouvaient être utilisés avec des ordinateurs. Malheureusement, il n’était pas vraiment possible de présenter ces tours de magie en dehors de chez soi car transporter un ordinateur dans sa poche n'est pas possible. C'est pourquoi par la suite Tenyo s'est concentré sur des applications pour téléphones portables. Dès 2001 Tenyo a créé du contenu pouvant être utilisé grâce à la technologie I-mode déployée alors au Japon. Puis, plus récemment, Tenyo a créé et commercialisé un jeu pour Nintendo DS appelé "Magic Encyclopedia" (Master of Illusion en occident). Le projet de créer des applications pour Iphone est donc le prolongement de toutes ces créations et une suite logique pour Tenyo. Lorsque L'Iphone est sorti, Mr Komiya de Tenyo a été très attentif à toutes les fonctionnalités proposées par ce nouvel appareil et a tout de suite cherché comment il serait possible d'en tirer parti afin de créer de nouveaux tours de magie interactifs. Pour mener à bien ce projet, il fallait trouver une entreprise spécialisée dans le développement d'applications. A cette époque, il était en contact avec quelqu'un dans ce milieu qui justement était un grand fan de Tenyo depuis qu'il était enfant. C'est donc tout naturellement qu'un partenariat a pu être noué afin de développer des applications magiques pour Iphone. Au final, 3 entreprises différentes ont collaborées ensembles pour ce projet: Tenyo, CRI · Middleware et Val-up Technology . Lors des premières réunions des dizaines d'idées ont été trouvées mais les trois équipes n’étaient pas forcement d'accord sur le chemin que devait prendre ce projet. Finalement après de nombreuses rencontres, les idées ont convergées et les trois entreprises se sont lancées dans la production de deux d'applications. Entre temps de nombreuses applications concurrentes permettant d'utiliser l'Iphone pour faire des tours de magie sont apparues sur le marché. Il était donc très important que Tenyo réussisse à se démarquer en proposant quelque chose de vraiment différent et impressionnant, tout en étant simple à appréhender pour l'acheteur. Des prototypes de Magic Hat et Magic Shuffle ont alors été présentés à des magiciens lors de conventions magiques à Beijing et le résultat les a impressionné car toutes les fonctionnalités de l'Iphone étaient bien exploitées tout en étant facile à utiliser. En tout il aura fallu plus de 4 mois de développement pour arriver au résultat finale. Depuis les applications ont été commercialisées dans le monde entier. Par la suite Magic Hat à du être retiré de l'App Store car des changements du système d'exploitation dans les nouveaux iphones ne permettaient plus de faire fonctionner correctement l'application. Récemment une troisième application pour Ipad, Magic Matrix, a vu le jour.
