English:
The magician displays two solid pencils and the Crossroads tube: two tubes at right angles which intersect each other. One pencil is placed into the tube. The other pencil is inserted into the other tube and is pushed right through the first pencil! At the end, the spectator can examine everything: the two pencils and the Crossroad tube. Yet the more he searches for a solution, the more impossible Crossroad becomes!

Development story:
The important, when we conceive a packaging from a magic trick, it is to manage to restore accurately the mystery and the principle of this trick. There is generally a demonstrator from Tenyo in the magic corner in the shops but when it is not the case, it is the instructions and the illustrations on the packaging that have to allow the buyer, with a simple look, to understand the idea and the principle of the effect. It is evident that, compared to a real demonstration, the impact is reduced there; furthermore, if the factor of time is important in the progress of the trick, the effect cannot be understood without the attentive reading of the instructions. The packaging has an essential role when it comes to selling a magic trick. A method allowing the packaging to make understand at once the purpose of the trick,  almost so effectively as the real demonstration, is to use easily recognizable objects of the everyday life, in particular in the magic tricks in which objects pass through each other.
Show familiar objects which cross in a incomprehensible way is enough for creating a strong impact and thereby an interest for the product. For CrossRoad, the magic trick being under a transparent blister pack allowing to see the props, this impact was generated by both pencils which cross throughout. The customer is immediately intrigued by this scene and he then wants to look at it closer and take the product in hand to examine it. At this moment the customer logically look at the back of the package and see the explanations of the effect as well as presentation drawings.
A successful packaging can attract the customer and bring him to want to learn more about the product. From the perspective of the designer, it is important to take into account this criterion when it comes to develop a magic trick with everyday objects. It is also important to imagine in advance what the package might look like and how it can attract the interest of the buyer immediately.
