A beautiful made brass box contains one die. A spectator has an absolutely free choice of any number from 1 to 6. The box is opened to show the uppermost number on the die wich matches the spectator's free choice. For example If the viewer selected the number 2 it will be the face of the die representing the 2 which will be visible once the box is opened. The trick can be repeated and each time the dice indicate the choice of the spectator. A trick truly diabolical as its name suggests.

Une magnifique boîte en laiton dans laquelle se trouve un dé à jouer est présentée à l'auditoire. On demande alors à un spectateur de nommer librement un nombre entre 1 à 6, un dé a jouer ayant six faces. Une fois le que le spectateur aura révélé son choix la boîte sera ouverte et on découvre que le nombre sur la face supérieure du dé coïncide avec le choix du spectateur. Si le spectateur choisi par exemple le chiffre 2 ca sera la face du dé représentant le 2 qui sera visible une fois la boite ouverte. Le tour peut être répété et à chaque fois le dé indiquera le choix du spectateur. Un tour vraiment diabolique comme l'indique son nom.
