This new magic trick has caused magicians worldwide to shout in wide-eyed surprise. Three coins magically vanish as they appear to melt into an illustration you've drawn on a memo pad.
The magician draws a circle on the memo pad. As he rubs the real coin against the picture of the circle, the coin soon disappears. It's as if the coin drops into an invisible hole in the paper, an endless empty well. Now he adds some lines to the picture, so it looks like a bucket. 2 more coins are rubbed against the picture one by one. All of these coins also disappear and your spectator hear the clicking sound. At the end you can tear the page from the pad and give it to your spectator. It's also possible as and extra routine to draw the handle for the bucket and then turn over the paper. The coins can be re-appeared from within the thin paper.
Thanks to a brand-new specially constructed gimmick, you will be able to perform an incredibly visual effect that looks like real magic. The gimmick has been built into a perfectly ordinary memo pad, so you'll always be ready to perform with the most natural of props. But you can use this gimmick with any brand of memo pad and use any coin available to you, U.S.coins, Euro coins, etc...

When I received this new magic trick, and opening the box, the first thing I thought was: "Nobody had ever thought of that !? Nobody has invented a similar mechanism in the past!?" As incredible as it may seem, in the end it turns out that the answer is No, nobody had ever thought of this and just for that, the creation of Mr Iniba deserves to be in the World Greatest Magic collection.

The second thing that came to my mind is a post on the "Magic Café Forum" where Angelo Carbone explained how it was possible, in a fun way, to invent and imagine new magic tricks. For this he proposed to write on pieces of paper the name of several common object (Wallet, box, pen ...), of different accessories (coins, ring, scarf ..) and various magical effects (disappear, levitate, change, piercing ...) and then pick up three pieces of paper and try to imagine how it was possible to invent a new routine using objects, accessories and effects you've picked (For information there is a card deck called "Oblique Strategy" by Brian Eno using this principle and there is also an iPhone app). So I immediately imagined Memo Pad will have been invented in this way. By selecting "note pad", "coin", and "Disappear", I think everyone could try to find a solution and devise a mechanism similar to the one sold today by Tenyo and is a fine example of "magical thinking. 

Magic Memo Pad is a success, it is also a typical Tenyo trick with objects of every day life, including a very ingenious mechanism that allows to perform miracles. The possibilities offered by this new gimmick are limitless and you can invent a great number of stories and innovative routines. It is possible to draw anything, an object, a person, a place, to serve your own story, and you can make disappear any small objects such as rings, matches, tokens, paper clips, etc... I think that it is possible to really invent great story and make this notepad an indispensable tool that will only be limited by your own imagination.

Regaring the props itself, I suggest you use your own notepad because the one provided by Tenyo is really too fragile and it is preferable to use a notepad brand available in your country, so that it is recognizable by the audience as a normal one, like something they have at home. The gimmick itself is a really unlikely assemblage of plastic... what am I going to do with all those pieces of plastic ??  MacGyver could not do better, but it works! Obviously we would have liked something a little more polished, a product of better quality with a more developed and sustainable mechanism. Nevertheless it must not be forgotten that the specifications the inventors from Tenyo must follow are extremely detailed forcing them to make many concessions.

Imagine that you had the difficult task to invent each year a brand new magic trick that will impress magicians around the world, which should be created and marketed, all in less than six months. Add to that all the limitations required by the company, for example : "Your creation will not have to use metal or wood but rather plastic to reduce production costs". "Will not have to be dangerous, pungent, sharp or pointed". Size and weight is imposed on you to be consistent with packaging. Labor for assembly and the number of pieces must be limited so that the plants can easily manufacture the props and all this must cost less than $5 to produce, props, packaging, instructions included in order to be sold to distributors less than $10. You'd be ready for the challenge? I think you would say that it is really hard and very complicated. Yet this challenge is done by Tenyo teams every year, and this for dozens of years. Personally I'm really impressed by the work done by Tenyo. So even if Magic Memo Pad could be better quality, the result works well, and the idea Mr. Inaba had is really great. Magic Memo Pad is a great idea, a good trick, and a real "Tenyo" as we like. Bravo.

Ce nouveau tour de magie a réussi à surprendre les magiciens du monde entier. Trois pièces de monnaie disparaissent comme par magie lorsqu'elles sont frottées sur un dessin que vous venez de dessiner sur un petit bloc-note.
Un petit bloc-note est présenté. Sur la première feuille vous dessinez un cercle. Lorsque vous frottez la pièce sur le dessin du cercle, celle-ci disparait instantanément, sans un bruit, comme si elle avait été englouti dans un trou noir représenté par le cercle. Vous dessinez alors des lignes supplémentaire, a partir du cercle, afin de former un nouveau dessin qui ressemble à un seau en métal. Une deuxième pièce de monnaie est placée sur ce nouveau dessin et comme la première fois, celle-ci disparait instantanément ! Mais cette fois les spectateurs peuvent entendre la pièce tomber au fond du sceau, comme si ce simple dessin était réel. Vous faites disparaitre une dernière pièce et les spectateurs vont alors penser qu'il y a une fente sur la feuille de papier et que les pièces sont juste derrière la première feuille. Vous dessinez alors une anse sur le seau, puis déchirez la feuille pour la donner aux spectateurs. Non seulement il n'y a aucune fente, mais on découvre que les pièces ont vraiment disparu sans laisser de trace... Apparemment, elles sont bel et bien dans le seau ! Il est d'ailleurs possible, en pliant le dessin en deux , de faire réapparaitre les pièces dans la main du spectateur comme si elles sortaient du sceau.
Grâce à ce gimmick inédit, vous allez pouvoir présenter une routine visuelle vraiment magique. Le mécanisme est intégré à un bloc-note complètement ordinaire, mais vous pouvez aussi l'utiliser avec un autre bloc-note de votre marque préférée. De plus, sachez que vous pourrez faire disparaitre la plupart des pièces existantes, que vous habitiez aux USA ou en Europe.

Lorsque j'ai reçu ce nouveau tour, et en ouvrant la boite, la première chose à laquelle j'ai pensé c'est: "Mais personne n'avais jamais pensé à ça ? Personne n'a inventé un mécanisme similaire dans le passé ?" Aussi incroyable que cela puisse paraitre, il s'avère au final que non, personne n'y avait pensé, et rien que pour cela, la création de Mr Iniba mérite d'être dans la collection World Greatest Magic.

La deuxième chose qui m'est venue à l'esprit est un article sur le "Magic Café Forum" où Angelo Carbone expliquait comment il était possible, de manière ludique, d'inventer et d'imaginer de nouveaux tours de magie. Pour cela, il proposait d'écrire sur des petits bouts de papier le nom de différents objets communs ( portefeuille, boite, stylo ...), de différents accessoires ( pièces, bague, foulard .. ) et de différents effets magiques ( disparaitre, léviter, transformer, transpercer...), puis de piocher trois bouts de papier et d'essayer d'imaginer comment il était possible d'inventer une routine utilisant l'objet, l'accessoire et l'effet tirés au sort (Il existe un jeu de carte appelé "Oblique Stratégie" de Brian Eno reprenant ce principe, ainsi qu'une application iphone).  J'ai alors tout de suite imaginé que Memo Pad aurait pu être inventé comme cela, en piochant "bloc note", "pièce de monnaie", et "disparaitre"; je crois que chacun aurait pu trouver la solution et inventer un mécanisme similaire à celui vendu aujourd'hui par Tenyo et c'est un bel exemple de "pensée magique".

Magic Memo Pad est une réussite, c'est aussi un tour typiquement Tenyo, avec des objets de la vie de tous les jours, et un mécanisme vraiment ingénieux qui permet de faire des miracles. Les possibilités offertes par ce nouveau gimmick sont sans limite et vous pourrez inventer un grand nombre d'histoires et de routines innovantes. Il est possible de dessiner n'importe quoi, un objet, un personnage, un lieu, afin de servir votre propre histoire, et vous pouvez faire disparaitre n'importe quels petits objet, comme des bagues, allumettes, jetons, boulettes de papier, trombones etc..  Je pense vraiment qu'il sera possible d'inventer des histoires vraiment géniales et de faire de ce bloc-note un outil indispensable qui ne sera limité que par votre propre imagination.

Concernant le matériel en lui même, je vous conseille de remplacer le bloc-note fourni par celui que vous avez l'habitude d'utiliser au bureau ou à la maison afin qu'il soit reconnaissable comme un objets "normal" par les spectateurs . Le gimmick en lui même est vraiment un assemblage improbable de plastique. On a l'impression d'avoir ouvert un Kinder Suprise, et on se demande ce qu'on va bien pouvoir faire de tout ça !  Mais au final ça fonctionne ! Mag Gyver n'aurait pas pu mieux faire ! Évidemment, on aurait aimé quelque chose d'un peu plus soigné, un produit de meilleur qualité avec un mécanisme plus durable et élaboré. Malgré tout, il ne faut pas oublier que le cahier des charges pour un inventeur de Tenyo doit être extrêmement exigeant.

Imaginez que vous aviez, chaque année, la lourde tâche d'inventer un nouveau tour de magie inédit qui devra impressionner les magiciens du monde entier. Il devra être inventé et prêt à être commercialisé, tout cela en moins de six mois. Rajoutez à cela toutes les limitations exigées par l'entreprise, par exemple "votre création ne devra pas utiliser de métal ou de bois mais plutôt du plastique pour limiter les coûts de production", "ne devra pas être dangereuse, piquant, coupant ou pointu" etc... La taille et le poids vous sont imposés afin d'être conformes aux emballages. L'assemblage et le nombre de pièces limités pour que les usines puissent le fabriquer facilement, et tout cela devra couter moins de 5$ à produire, matériel, emballage, notice incluse afin d'être vendu aux distributeurs moins de 10$. Vous seriez prêt à relever le défi ? Je pense que vous vous diriez que c'est vraiment dûr et très compliqué. Et pourtant ce défi est relevé par les équipes de Tenyo chaque année, et cela depuis des dizaines d'année. Personnellement je suis vraiment admiratif du travail accompli. Donc même si Magic Mémo Pad aurait pu être de meilleur qualité, le résultat est là, le tour fonctionne, et l'idée qu'a eu Mr Inaba est vraiment géniale.

La boite est secouée pour prouver que la bague est bien à l'intérieur puis elle est placé dans la main du spectateur et on demande à celui ci de la couvrir avec ses deux main. Âpres une passe magique, quand la boite est ouverte la bague à disparue et elle réapparait sur la doigt du magicien ! Dans une deuxième routine proposée par Tenyo vous pourrez faire disparaitre une pièce de monnaie pour la faire réapparaitre dans le nœud d'un foulard que vous aurez montré vide auparavant. En vous trouverez sans problème de multiples application pour cette petite boite. Son mécanisme est extrêmement ingénieux et la qualité de fabrication est tout simplement irréprochable. Trap Box Bien est plus qu'une simple "Rattle boxe" car il combine deux mécanisme différents de manière inédite, de plus la boite est examinable sans risque.

Review:
"Shrinking pen" is a really nice effect and you can easily carry in your pocket to perform it at any time! You may think you understand how the mechanism works but the gimmick is much more subtle than you think. Seeing video I thought I figured out how it worked, later when I received the trick I was pleasantly surprised seeing that the construction of the pen is really more complex than I expected. I think it's really possible, taking care of the presentation, to make of this trick something the audience will love. I should add that the way the trick is performed on video doesn't do justice to the trick.  In fact the spectator can holds the big pen from the beginning to the end, without ever release it, unlike what is shown in the video and do it that way it will remove the doubt of an exchange or otherwise, making this effect even more impressive. Shrinking pen is an effect that may be interesting to present along "Undercover Cube" because this is the same style of routine depriving the spectator of his vision to play with his other senses. It's "the magic you can feel" as described on the box.

Le nom de ce tour parle par lui-même ! Vous montrez un gros stylo rouge à votre public, il parait tout à fait ordinaire. Demandez à un spectateur de le tenir entre ses doigts sous un foulard. Pendant que le stylo est tenu, le spectateur sent aussitôt le stylo rétrécir. Lorsque le foulard est enlevé, le stylo a réellement raccourci et est devenu minuscule ! Le public peut alors examiner le stylo sans risque.

Review:
Le "Shrinking pen" est un effet sympathique que vous pouvez transporter dans votre poche pour le présenter à tout moment ! Vous pensez peut être avoir deviner son fonctionnement, mais en fait le truc est beaucoup plus subtil que vous ne le pensez. Moi même en voyant la vidéo je croyais avoir trouvé comment cela fonctionnait. Pourtant, quand j'ai reçu le tour j'ai été agréablement surpris de voir que la construction du stylo est vraiment plus complexe que ce que j'imaginais et je pense qu'il y a vraiment moyen, en soignant la présentation, d'en faire un effet que votre public aimera. Je tiens à ajouter que la manière dont est présenté l'effet sur le vidéo ci dessous ne rend pas justice au tour. En effet, à la différence de ce qui est montré dans la vidéo, vous pourrez faire en sorte que le spectateur tienne le gros stylo du début à la fin sans jamais le lâcher et cela enlève immédiatement le doute d'un échange. En présentant de cette manière l'impact est encore plus fort car le spectateur n'a aucune piste pour comprendre comment le stylo a rétrécie de la sorte alors qu'il ne l'a jamais lâché. Pour conclure il peut être judicieux de présenter Shrinking Pen à la suite de "Undercover Cube" car il s'agit ici du même style de routine qui prive le spectateur de la vue pour jouer avec ses autres sens.

Review:

Floating Card has exceeded my expectations in terms of ease of presentation and strong visual impact. Unlike other versions, you do not have to tilt the game to run the gimmick and you can keep it horizontal during the entire presentation which, incidentally, is very easy. So you're clean from beginning to end, and you can show the deck of cards from all sides without any risk. In addition the ability to remove the card which is just below the levitating playing card is the highlight strong point of this effect because most of the time it is impossible with conventional versions. Do not underestimate this effect: it is very good. It was developed by Angelo Carbone, and that alone should be enough to convince you to add to your repertoire.

Tips from Xl18 on Magic Café Forum:

Magician puts the deck in the spectator's hand and then holds the spectator's hand from below "to keep it steady". He then makes the card float while the spectator is holding the deck.
What I like about doing it this way is that it appears the the magician is not touching the deck at all when the card starts floating. Also since the spectators hand is being held in front of them it is very difficult for them to bend down and peek under the floating card which was to me always the biggest problem with the trick.

About creator:

Angelo Carbone is a creative guy who invents magic whether big scale illusions or small close up effects. His widely copied "Out of Order" card trick has been a world wide success. Also, "Notion of Motion" - his any called for card rise is receiving much praise from the magic world.
Angelo is also well known for its amazing collection of Tenyo tricks and this is probably why he wanted to invent effects which might interest them. He then sent a videotape on which he had filmed his creations and the team was so impressed that Tenyo delegation took advantage of a magical trip to a convention in Europe to travel to London and meet him in person. Angelo Carbone then presented to the Tenyo team its prototypes and five of his creations were chosen. Mini-Morphosis was one of them and through this he was the first Englishman to have a trick produced by the Tenyo Company. Subsequently Angelo Carbone has even created a website dedicated to the Japanese firm. In 2009 his effect "Floating card" was his third creation edited by Tenyo after the sublime Prison Box and the ingenious Mini-Morphosis.

La carte est alors placée face en haut sur le paquet, et comme par magie elle se met à flotter lentement vers le haut ! Review:
Floating Card a dépassé toutes mes attentes en termes de facilité de présentation et de force d'impact visuel. Contrairement à d'autres versions, vous n'avez pas à incliner le jeu, pour faire fonctionner le gimmick et vous pourrez le maintenir à l'horizontale durant toute la présentation qui, par ailleurs, est très facile. Vous êtes donc clean du début à la fin, et vous pouvez montrer le jeu de carte de tout les cotés sans aucun risque. De plus le fait de pouvoir retirer la carte qui est juste en dessous de celle qui lévite est le gros point fort ce cet effet car la plupart du temps cela est impossible avec les versions classiques. Ne sous-estimez pas cette routine: elle est puissante et convaincante. Ce tour a été mis au point par Angelo Carbone, et cela seul devrait suffire à vous convaincre de l'ajouter à votre répertoire.

Astuce de Xl18 du Magic Café Forum:

Dans cette version le magicien met le paquet de carte directement dans les mains du spectateur puis il tiens les mains du spectateur par le dessous afin qu'elles restent bien en place. Puis il fait léviter la carte pendant que le spectateur tiens lui même le paquet. Ce que j'aime avec cette manière de faire c'est qu'il apparait que le magicien ne touche jamais le paquet de cartes quand la carte choisie se met à léviter. De plus, comme les mains du spectateur sont devant lui il peux difficilement se baisser ou se pencher pour regarder ce qui se passe sous la carte et cela permet de régler ce qui est pour moi le plus gros point faible de ce tour.

Angelo Carbone est un jeune homme créatif qui invente des tour de magie, que ce soit des tours de close-up ou des illusions plus classiques, son imagination n'a pas de limite. Son très copié tour de carte "Out of Order" à été un succès mondial. De plus, son tour "Notion of Motion", a reçu beaucoup d'éloges du monde de la magie. Angelo est en outre bien connu pour son incroyable collection de tours Tenyo et c'est surement pour cette raison qu'il a eu envie d'inventer des effets qui pourraient les intéresser. Il envoya alors une cassette vidéo sur laquelle il avait filmé ses créations et l'équipe de Tenyo fut tellement intéressée qu'une délégation profita d'un voyage pour une convention magique en Europe pour se rendre à Londres et le rencontrer en personne. Show a picture frame to your audience. The picture in the frame is an illustration of Pinocchio. When you make a magical gesture, Pinocchio's nose visibly grows longer, and then shrinks back to its original size. When you remove the picture at the end of your performance, there is only one picture inside the frame, and it is examinable by your audience. They will be unable to find anything unusual with the illustration, even though they saw it altered in front of their eyes.
This effect is both humorous and surprising, and captures your audience right away with the familiar character of Pinocchio. You explain that his nose grows every time he tells a lie, and as you are talking the nose visually grows longer. Your audience will be suspicious of the picture, so they are doubly shocked when you remove the picture from the frame, and allow them to confirm that it is nothing more than a single sheet of printed paper.

Review:
I'm not sure why but I love this trick although the design is very childish. Actually I think what pleases me is the fact of putting the viewer on a false trail so he thought he understood the trick to surprise him at the end of the performance showing him he was wrong. The effects using this kind of method like "Twister" or "Moons of Jupiter" are always fun to perform because you know in advance that you will surprise the audience at the end and thus to enhance the mystery. The trick itself is very clever because it consists of two gimmick that work together to make a complete and smart routine keeping the audience in the dark at each step from beginning to end and you can also offer this so magical drawing as a souvenir to your audience. Finally it is noted that Tenyo was probably inspired by "Floating Lady" in the design of Animation Frame because there are some common mechanisms in both tricks.

Montrer à votre public un cadre à photo. L'image dans le cadre est une illustration de Pinocchio. Lorsque vous faites un geste magique, le nez de Pinocchio devient visiblement plus long, puis il reprend sa taille d'origine. Lorsque vous retirez l'image à la fin de votre performance, il n'y a qu'une simple photo tout à fait normale à l'intérieur du cadre, et elle est examinable par votre auditoire. Ils seront incapables de trouver quelque chose d'inhabituel même si elle s'est modifiées directement devant leurs yeux pendant le tour !
Cet effet est à la fois drôle et surprenant, et captera l'attention de votre public tout de suite grâce au personnage familier de Pinocchio. Vous expliquez que son nez s'allonge à chaque fois qu'il raconte un mensonge, et pendant que vous parlez, son nez devient visuellement plus long. Votre public sera suspect et il imaginera que l'image ou le cadre est truquée, ils seront donc doublement choqué quand vous retirerez l'image du cadre, leur permettant de l'examiner et de confirmer que cette photo de Pinocchio n'est rien de plus qu'une simple feuille de papier imprimé.

Je ne sais pas trop pourquoi mais j'aime beaucoup ce tour bien que son design soit très enfantin. En fait je pense que ce qui me plait c'est le fait de mettre le spectateur sur une fausse piste afin qu'il pense avoir compris le truc, pour après le surprendre en lui montrant qu'il s'est totalement trompé. Les tours fessant appel à ce genre de méthode comme celui ci mais aussi "Twister"ou "Moons of Jupiter" sont toujours agréables à présenter car vous savez d'avance que vous allez surprendre le public à la fin et ainsi renforcer le mystère. Le truc en lui même est très ingénieux car il est composé de deux astuces complémentaires qui permettent de faire une routine complète et intelligente du début à la fin et vous pourrez en plus laisser ce dessin si magique en souvenir à un spectateur. Pour finir il est à noter que Tenyo s'est surement inspiré de "Floating Lady" lors de la conception d'Animation Frame car on retrouve certains mécanismes communs aux deux tours.

Trivia:

There are two different versions of this trick. The first depicts a character like Pinocchio, while the second actually uses the real image of the famous puppet. The explanation is that Tenyo has obtained the rights for use of the Disney character only for Japan but not for the rest of the world. Nothing very surprising because this kind of negotiation is usually done country by country. Tenyo then creates a second version especially dedicated to the West. We also note that the packaging is different between the two versions. Indeed on the first version, the magic is visible behind a transparent blister while on the other it is simply packed in a cardboard box.

Anecdotes:
Il existe deux versions différentes de ce tour. La première met en scène un personnage ressemblant à Pinocchio, tandis que la deuxième utilise réellement l'image du célèbre pantin. La raison de l'existence de ces deux modèles est que Tenyo à obtenu les droits pour une utilisation d'un personnage de Disney uniquement pour le  Japon mais pas pour le reste du Monde. Show your audience a circular-shaped card that contains the pictures of many playing cards. Allow your spectator to make a completely free choice of a one card. Using a pair of scissors, cut out the chosen card. When you turn everything over, the freely chosen card is the only one with a red back. However, all of the other non-chosen cards have blue backs.
This prediction magic is sure to baffle. Your spectator will be delighted, since she can keep the cut-out card as a “lucky card.” Every time she looks at that card, she will be reminded of you. A pair of scissors with rounded tips are included for convenience, so you can perform this trick immediately. (You can also use your own scissors at home.) This Tenyo is a true success, one of Tenyo's best tricks ever! I am impressed and relieved by the method. It does NOT use color changing ink, bits of colored celophane or Chinese import electronics. This is something that could have been made back when color printing became affordable. The gimmick is so clever that you will take great pleasure by performing this one. The card-shaped donuts are very nice and good quality.But there is more than just cardboard rings. There is a nicely made pair of steel scissors having plastic dipped handles and "TENYO" stamped in the metal. Collectors need these ! You can also use your own scissor.

Demandez à votre spectateur de faire un choix totalement libre en désignant une seule carte. En utilisant une paire de ciseaux vous découpez la carte choisie. Ce tour de prédiction est vraiment fabuleux et le truc est vraiment indétectable. Votre spectateur sera ravis, car il peut garder la carte découpée comme une "carte chance" en souvenir et ce genre de petits détails font toujours plaisir.
Ce tour est une vrai réussite, digne des meilleurs Tenyo et le truc est tellement ingénieux que vous prendrez beaucoup de plaisir à présenter cet effet. Les cartes en forme de Donuts sont très belle et de bonne qualité. Une paire de ciseaux à bouts arrondis sont inclus pour plus de commodité, de plus le logo de Tenyo est gravé dessus, un must pour les collectionneurs et vous pouvez donc effectuer ce tour immédiatement. (Vous pouvez également utiliser votre propre paire de ciseaux à la maison). Vous disposez de suffisamment de cartes Fortune Donuts pour 20 présentations. This magic created by Shigueru Sugawara is not sold by Tenyo. However he took the truly unique design from Tenyo's Fortune Donuts and routine seems almost identical. But the gimmick is totally different and those who know "Fortune Donuts" will be surprised because they will immediately think of Tenyo's trick and will believe they know the secret.

The freely chosen symbol exactly matches! The Simplest idea, yet deepest mystery!! There are one big ring and one small ring that have many different symbols printed on them. The small ring is turned over and placed inside the big ring. The spectator is asked to freely choose one divided section on the back of the ring and sign on it. The chosen section is now cut-out using scissors along with the big ring. The small ring is turned over, but there is no place to match the symbols. All are different. The cut-out from the small ring is turned over. The symbol on the signed cut-out from small ring exactly match the symbol with the cut-out of the big ring! Comes with 20 refill sets.

Ce tour de magie créé par Shigueru Sugawara n'est pas vendu par Tenyo. Il reprend pourtant le design vraiment unique de Fortune Donuts et la routine parait presque identique. Pourtant le gimmick est totalement différent et ceux qui connaissent Fortune Donuts seront les plus surpris car il penseront immédiatement au Tour de Tenyo et croirons connaitre le secret.

Deux anneaux en papier, un grand et un petit, ont différentes sections avec des symboles imprimées sur chacune d'entre elles. Le petit anneau en papier est retourné afin qu'on ne voit plus les symboles et il placé au hasard à l'intérieur du grand anneau. On demande alors à un spectateur de choisir librement une des sections avec un symbole et de la signer. La section choisie est alors découpée avec des ciseaux. Le petit anneau en papier est alors retourné et on découvre qu'aucun symbole ne correspond entre les deux anneaux. La partie du petit anneau découpé qui avait été choisie est alors retournée. Le symbole signé par le spectateur correspond exactement au symbole du petit anneau ! Ce tour est vendu avec 20 recharges.

When you slide the hole down, the president's head moves too! You can immediately remove the bill from the frame, and show that the bill is perfectly normal.

Shigeru Sugawara joined the Tenyo Magic Company in 1967, but creating magic wasn't his speciality at the time. Shigeru Sugawara is another Tenyo's Idea Men. His "See Through Card" and "Squeeze Play" have been best sellers for some years. He also devised "Tunnel of Darkness", one of the strongest effect in the catalog. Some of his creations are utterly brilliant, but so intricates that they are beyond the realms of normal manufacturing techniques.
Shigeru Sugawara not only comes up whit ideas for magic; he also draws pictures of all the tricks from the development staff, and turns them into products in a way that is magic itself. He is not credited on the products themselves, but a thanks to his engineering skills a great number of simple tricks have been transformed into something wonderful. The entire development staff owes a great deal to him. His excellent ideas contributed to his being awarded the Tenkai prize in 1977. On présente un petit cadre décoré représentant un magicien. Un billet de banque est inséré dans le cadre, de manière à ce que la tête du président dessiné sur le billet apparaisse dans le trou pratiqué dans le cadre. On a ainsi l'impression que le président a prêté sa tête au magicien ! Âpres une passe magique on fait glisser le dessin du magicien vers le bas et la tête du président suit le mouvement en se désolidarisant du billet ! Pourtant le billet n'a pas bougé d'un millimètre ! Âpres quelques aller et retour la tête reprend sa place sur le billet et tout rentre dans l'ordre, et vous le donnez ensuite à examiner. Étant donné que ce très joli tour nécessite l'emploi d'un dollar américain, il n'a été que très peu été diffusé en France. Malgré tout il est facile de trouver un billet d'un Dollar de nos jour et il serait dommage de se priver de cet effet vraiment réussit, autant dans son design que dans son mécanisme.

Shigeru Sugawara est une autre tête pensante de chez Tenyo, il a rejoint la compagnie en 1967 mais créer des tours de magie n'a pas toujours été sa spécialité. Ses créations "See Through Card" et "Squeeze Play" ont été des best sellers pendant de nombreuses années et il a aussi conçu "Tunnel of Darkness" un des effets le plus puissant de toute la collection. Certaines de ses créations son extrêmement brillantes mais aussi tellement compliquées qu'elles sont au delà des possibilités techniques de fabrication qu'offre une usine de production classique.
Mais Shigeru Sugawara ne fait pas que créer des tours de magie, il s'occupe aussi de dessiner les schémas de tout les tours pour l'équipe de développement, et les transforme en produits d'une manière qui est magique elle même. A penetration frame like you've never seen before. A transparent panel is clearly locked inside of a triangular-shaped frame. The magician covers the center of the panel with a piece of paper, and thenﾉ smoothly penetrates the panel with a solid pencil! Upon removing the pencil, the audience is immediately allowed to examine the props, but there is clearly no hole in the panel - none at all!

You'll think your eyes are playing tricks on you when you see a solid pencil pass freely through the solid triangular panel. You can hand the props out for thorough examination both before and after your performance. Nothing unusual will be found, thanks to a diabolical locking mechanism. Even if you know how the traditional penetration frame works, it's impossible to discover where the hole comes from, and where it goes! This newly designed prop has baffled every magician who's seen it.

Le magicien tient entre ses mains une plaque de plastique transparent emprisonnée dans un petit cadre triangulaire. C'est le fameux triangle des Bermudes au centre du quel les choses disparaissent sans explications. Il place en son centre un morceau de papier. Un crayon, tenu par un spectateur, transperce le centre du papier. Le crayon passe de part en part, semblant trouer la plaque transparente. Pourtant, la plaque peut être montrée aussitôt, parfaitement intacte. Tous les accessoires utilisés peuvent être laissés à l'examen ! Tenyo avait déjà commercialisé un effet similaire (T-26 Glass Board), mais ici le trucage a été perfectionné et l'esthétique modernisée si bien que même les magiciens les plus doués ne comprendrons pas comment un trou peut apparaitre ici.
